The Walker Animal Hospital Staff is composed of a Practice Manager, Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Service Representatives.  We all love our jobs!  Most of us are cross trained as well to perform in different areas throughout the day whether it's taking a phone call or running diagnostics in our inhouse lab.   “I have an incredible staff.  They're like family to me. Dr. Walker is a 5th generation Anderson native. He attended Anderson University, where he graduated in 2005 with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He then went on to Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, finishing in 2009 with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced medicine and surgery in Birmingham, Alabama for 3 years before coming home to the Upstate. He enjoys general medicine, dermatology, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgery. His orthopedic focus is on preventing and treating osteoarthritis with multiple modalities. Dr. Walker is certified to perform the Arthrex TightRope CCL procedure for torn ACLs in the canine. He has a special interest in hunting dogs, and has the privilege of seeing these patients from all over the Southeast. He enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
